Administrative Assistant
Manages all aspects of daily operations, performs mid-level strategic sourcing responsibilities for inner-office purchases. Assists with surplus disposal of university property. Trusted to coordinate specialized senior staff level paraprofessional support and handles a wide range of executive related tasks with the ability to do so under little or no supervision. Coordinates department trainings and off-site meetings including selection of venue and catering options. Must be extremely well organized, flexible, insightful, and enjoy the challenges of supporting an organization of diverse responsibilities and programs. Requires seasoned, independent performance, analysis and judgment coupled with extensive event planning and management prowess. Assists Executive Services and the travel department with overflow travel needs. Program development, shared vision, and strategic development experience are necessary. Must exhibit a high level of competency, excitement, and emotional intelligence. This position is a contributing member of the department leadership council and the vision and direction team.
What you'll do in this position:

- Assist in mid-level executive services and travel work.
- Assist surplus property disposal for the university.
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or the equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Willing to learn travel GDS technology.
Preferred
- 3 years of experience supporting at the executive level.
- Travel GDS experience preferred.
